About Us
Tobe Lynn Gerard, President
Tobe Lynn Gerard has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. Her entry came in an unlikely fashion when she was selected to be the head librarian for the Insurance Library Association of Boston. At the helm from 1977 through 1980, she worked tirelessly to successfully increase the visibility and the revenue for this historic institution, but while doing that she discovered that she loved insurance more than she loved being a librarian.
Tobe went to work for the Professional Insurance Agents of New England in 1980, and worked for them and their successor organization until 2000. During that time she sold a variety of insurance products, ranging from malpractice insurance to life insurance to Long Term Care Insurance.
In March of 2000, Tobe started her own insurance agency specializing exclusively in Long Term Care Insurance. Because of her independent insurance agency background, as well as her strong belief that one size doesn’t fit all, she has always represented at least eight Long Term Care Insurance companies.
Tobe earned her CLTC designation (Certified in Long Term Care) in 2001. She earned her CSA designation (Certified Senior Advisor) in 2004. She became a member of the faculty of The National Alliance in 2004, and has taught Long Term Care Insurance for them throughout the country. She serves on the Long Term Care Advisory Committee for the National Association of Health Underwriters. As a member of the Massachusetts Association of Health Underwriters, she has lobbied energetically for Long Term Care Insurance legislation that will protect consumers to a greater degree.
She is a Past President of Natick Rotary.
Tobe and her husband Marc have lived in Natick, MA for over 30 years.
